| Noah was sitting in a lounge chair in the corner of the Laughing Badger Inn located in middle class area in Urkroot. Noah was picking at some food that was on the plate in front of him and was writing in a notebook with a frustrated look on his face. V was trying to teach Noah how to read and write in his language "Noah! Its bherta! B-H-E-R-T-A not B-U-R-T-A!" "You told me to spell it how it sounded! I did!" "I assure you that is NOT how it sounds!" Noah lashed out internally "You are just angry because we did not find your girlfriend here!" V was trying not to lose his cool, he has had about enough of Noah's foul attitude the past few days. They had spent the past few days wandering the lands trying to find the old spots V remembered his friend stopping at between the cities. The kid was just tired of traveling and obviously wanted to go to the restaurant those hooded people were talking about. V sighed internally, calming himself down enough to speak with a level head. "First off, she is not my girlfriend. She is a good friend of mine. Secondly... I know why you are angry. But I thought I had explained it well enough to you. WE CANNOT GO! Going to a location like that with people who know who I am is suicidal! I am teaching you my language so that you have someone of a secret language we can use. Not many people know this language. Then we will find someone who we can send off to grab the letter for us. I don't want to meet this people unless they can PROVE you have other family! Preferably alive! I know you dislike having just me here." Noah seemed to calm down at V's words and mumbled in his head quietly, "I don't.... dislike it..you are my only family left.." V knew Noah meant for him not to hear that so he remained silent and continued to tell Noah words to write down and their meanings. |
