I might make this a subforum of the Member Lounge in the future...
This thread is for asking about specific parts of the setting, suggesting lore, etc. This is hardly the only place for such talks; the cbox, private messaging, the loot/plot approval forum, etc are all such places as well.
But having a public thread to put stuff down for later can be helpful as well. This is that thread!

Accents! These generally don't show up in writing, but people from different regions probably sound a bit different. Even in the U.S. people from, say, Chicago sound a little different than people from New York.

People from Ballena generally develop a slightly slowed speech and spaniardesque accent.
Unless they spend too much time with nobles, in which case it's more clipped and exact.

I imagine the societal effects of human disease/infection resistance are somewhat similar to the existence of vaccinations and modern medicine - child death rates are very low which in turn means families tend not to have a lot of them (usually there is a burst followed by decline AFAIK, but unlike vaccines there was no acclimation period where people had as many kids as before [resulting in huge families] - people have always been like that in AS). Likewise, childbirth is safer.

I'm curious to know more about the nobles and families with wealth and power in some of these regions. I guess that could be filled out by PCs creating characters of nobility too, which is fine--I just didn't know if you had any specific ideas on the king and queens of the land.
Also, I don't know if I saw anything about any religions or specific deities. This could also be created by PCs, but again, just curious if you had any general ideas on what direction you'd want to go with that.
And just off the top of my head, I think it'd be cool to have a specific group of shifters somewhere that look like anthropomorphic dragons--being lizards in actuality--with aspects like Mantle + Lord of Flames...lol. Just some crazy lizard shifters that take pride in their dragon-esque features >.>
