A quaint, two story domed stone building in outer verto. Skaylen's workshop is where the magical tinkerer Skaylen Riette experiments on everything from weapons to spells. The lower floor, open to anyone who wants to look around, contains numerous pedestals each containing some sort of half melted sword, metal scrolls and even one with a faintly meowing pitcher plant.

Upstairs is where the work really happens. A thick oak door bars the way to a stone staircase which leads up to the workshop proper. Low ceilings make the domed space seem even more cramped than it already is. Numerous alchemical and mystical tools litter numerous desks, tables and shelves. What clearly used to be a bookcase has no more than three books on its shelves and instead houses a host of jars, tubes and pots which contain various gases and bubbling liquids.

Located near the third bridge between the inner and outer rings of Verto. The Hazy Memory is often visited by those of less than stellar mental constitution before they venture into the city proper. What better way to handle the bizarre sights ahead than to alter your mind in preparation.

The building itself is fairly unremarkable, a granite dome with a short spire veined with quartz. Inside the establishment always smells of something distinctive, be it spice, fruit or occasionally something more esoteric. Filled with pillows, throws and whatever tools are necessary for utilising their wares. The Hazy Memory contains far more rooms in its diminutive dome than it has any right to, and most of them over look the prismatic lake below.

The proprietors of the Hazy Memory have an assortment of different roots, draughts, pills and pipes to suit any kind of outing. One could prepare for any manner of meeting within Verto... or simply pass the time.

Note: As a thread describing a public location, it's generally assumed people can freely enter and leave the thread as they go about their business. When making a new public location, it is fine to double post in order to have the initial post only describe the location. This helps in the long run, as you might want to edit in more information as various NPCs that work/frequent the location are described by others.
