Dinner Party
Cassie had been pondering how Lyor was defeated so quickly. She wanted to ask Havarti, but that might tip off the others. A spell, maybe? What if she lost without knowing it!?
..Well, Havarti would probably tell her. Or.. or maybe she couldn't lose then!? The girl grinned. Papa always said the ignorance was a fake shield but maybe she could prove him wrong!
This devious line of thought found itself immediately discarded when Havarti and the granny started talking about relationships. She heard about those! She was pretty sure that was a young person thing though. Although she didn't really know what was so special about the- wait, what did Havarti say he was looking for?!
"You lost someone too, Havarti?! The beach man lost someone, he was trying to find her with music - I told him to try playing louder - I liked him, he was nice. WAIT." Cassie turned towards Dorothy. "Can the social-lights find anyone? Not just the bo- things they've hidden? Oh! Do they hide living people too?" Cassie didn't think Havarti was looking for a body, anyway. A dead body was an "it" not a "her". Papa said so.
THE BATTLE!
Yack continued to stare at the wall. This continued to be fine.
