OOC: I feel like I didn't describe the empty ship very well - engines of any sort are virtually unheard of at this point in time, the technology is very new. This means ships usually use sails. Ryker could easily have been exposed to ship operation at some point, however.
Aside from the sail, the cog did seem to have something odd just below the water's surface, almost like a cannon flanked by a series of smaller cannons? Or a sideways pipe organ? Whatever it was didn't appear to be in use, however. It looked like something out of Verto - perhaps Dalton had connections? There were rumors that the desert city had been experimenting with some kind of engine.
Wally growls at the ignoral, practically leaping into the boat before Ryker can fully set off "HEY! Don't just-" a series of thumps and "Come on, Wally!" cuts the first man off. It looks like Ryker has a temporary crew, of sorts.
