[Tiburon][U] The Claiborne Estate

[Fen]

Fen nodded at the girl in agreement before responding. "Surely if the intent is spectacle then these dangerous looking gentlemen should probably come out last to challenge the initial group." He gestured towards Jones and Yack. "It only makes sense to have the most imposing duo come out at the end." If there was any insincerity in his words it didn't show on his face.

[Jones Alex]

Jones stood quietly, glaring intently off into the distance. An abnormally large bead of sweat made its way down his face.

"This monster will betray me at the first opportunity! But I can't afford to let that happen, it will take everything out of me to defeat him, I can't then fight two more demons!"

Jones then heard Fens proposal.

"That would ensure this monster has no incentive to destroy me! But then we'll be fighting 2v3, and who knows how these evil beasts conceal their power level."

Jones slowly turned his head towards Yack. He began speaking slowly, like each word was being squeezed out of a toothpaste tube.

"What do you think, crab friend?"

[Cassie]

Dinner Party

Cassie thought about it a bit more, then turned to Havarti "Is bread expensive? I had bread with soup once, it was really good! We usually eat animals, like.. um.. wolves. Wolves are pretty good." Her stomach, or at least whatever part of her internal goop managed such things, growled at the thought. She looked at Havarti's still untouched food with a hint of pleading in her eyes. "Can we eat now?"

DANCING

"Agreed. The end comes last." was Yack's response to the others.

Yack then turned his attention more fully to Jones, his hoarse, echoing voice sinking to a faint whisper "Are we? Will you? Have you? Why won't you? It would be so, it would be good. Victor will be victor, defeated will be defeated. Your eyes see. Your heart, clouded. The enemy, it surrounds us both."

[Havarti]

Havarti pauses over her words.. and definitely decided he would treat her to some new clothes and food later as well as Yack... If he eats.. that is..
He smiled down kindly to Cassie, "Bread is not very expensive, I shall make you some Rosemary Bread sometime, my mother taught me how to make some. My mother also taught me that you should always let the owner of the house take the first bite when eating in their home. In this case we are waiting on Ma'dam Dorothy. It is considered rude to eat before the owner of the House. Waiting for Ma'dam Dorothy shows that you respect her, her house, and what she stands for. But you should do that at every house you go to, unless they say otherwise, it shows that you are grateful for the food and the owner of the home's time.... Isn't that correct Ma'dam Dorothy? Havarti smiles kindly to Lady Dorothy, and also felt really bad for making Cassie wait. He is glad he had a snack earlier, but it was wearing off and he was becoming hungry.

[Cassie]

Dinner Party

"Oh. I... does a temple count as a house?" Cassie absentmindedly asks Havarti as she mostly turned her attention back towards Dorothy. Had she eaten anything yet? She really hope she'd eaten something!

[Jones Alex]

"The end may come last, but I am not the end! My team is the beginning! The beginning of a new movement of righteousness in this land that will never be destroyed! My team will be the one to start the fight, and finish it too! COME AT ME, DEMONS! GIVE ME YOUR BEST SHOT! YOU'LL NEVER SEE ME DEFEATED UNTIL THE SUN FALLS OUT OF THE SKY!"

During his speech, Jones had moved from a standing position, fully clothed, to standing on top of a chair, shirtless. Now he's just screaming.

[Cassie]

DANCING

Yack stood behind Jones. Back-to-back, except Yack wasn't standing on a chair. Or screaming. His lantern mace, however, was at the ready.

Mr Hargrave was at this point staring daggers into the side of Havarti's face. To Cassie, who had a better view, it looked like the rotund gentleman was trying to memorise every detail of the shifter's appearance.

"Quite so." the lady said as she lifted a grape from one of the plates and popped it into her mouth.

"I wanted to bargain to end the exile of my sister." said Prisma, eventually bringing himself round to answer Ms Claiborne's question.

"Your sister the pirate?" she asked in reply.

Dancing

"Right... well, I suppose that will do. Grier and Komo will fight Lydia and Fen. Jones and Eohwstlm will follow for the second round once someone concedes." the valet gestured towards the doors at the end of the room.

[Havarti]

Havarti looks at Cassie pondering for a moment if a temple in fact counted as a home. "I guess that depends on the type of temple. He felt Hargrave glaring at him, and thought for a moment before thinking in head "I guess... I accidentally insulted him with that.." Havarti watches Lady Dorothy take a grape and eat it, he then leans in towards Cassie and says softly so only she can hear, " And now you can eat after thanking her for the food." Havarti nods his head in a bow like form towards Lady Dorothy, "Thank you for the food Lady Dorothy." Havarti was listening in on Prisma's wish as he dished out some food onto his plate and put the napkin on his lap. He slowly ate as he listened.

Dinner Party BATTLE

Cassie copied the bow once more. "Thank you for the food Lady Dorothy" She cheerfully turned to get some food and talk about temples. Then it all come to a crashing halt.

Buttons was sizing up Havarti! She glanced at her new friend. He was currently taking on Prisma, completely unaware that the giant man was (probably) planning on killing him and eating the body! She could understand why Havarti didn't notice, Floren had looked pretty beaten earlier, but.. no. She could handle this!

Cassie stared directly at Hargrave's eyes. Papa told her you could stare down animals! She wasn't sure it worked on people, but she didn't like getting stared down and she was people so it probably did. She also heard you should try to make yourself look bigger.. the girl moved her arms just a little to push out her serape a bit, but not so much as to inconvenience those around her.

Cassie then tried really, really hard to give the man the most "I'm going to TEAR YOU TO SHREDS. Bring it fatty! We're making candles tonight!" look she could muster!

She giggled to herself a bit about the idea of a roomful of candles acting like Hargrave but after that ALL MURDER GLARE.
