OOC: I feel I should note that I've been assuming the whole forest hierarchy idea, healers, etc was pretty much something Mora put together as she grew up, and she basically convinced a pack of otherwise mostly normal wolves to go along with it. Is this a fair assumption?

The bartender passes Jedidiah his ordered fish, moving to the side to quickly check if the cloaked woman wanted anything.  She orders a shot to be polite, but both she and her server appear to be more interested in eavesdropping on Mora and Jeb's conversation than each other.

The two elves wander out of the bar, mumbling something about setting off to find and pet their neighbor's cat.

OOC~ Yeah, that works!

Her dexteritle paw rubbed her forehead halfway through Jebidiah's explaination. Hackles raised and ears flattened. Meanwhile, Luceundi was busy trying to understand how the little amigo of the human's could survive without a face to assist it eat and breathe. Amethyst gems rolled in mere amusement when she was going to reply to his suggestions. "Exlie means he gets away with attempted murder. Death is fair judgement or at least rip what he cares about from him. But you do have a point. Killing him would set wild animals back for years...however, if we took his Satanic canines, he would become enraged and attack every village in sight until he'd find them. That would lead to actual death and maybe the rest of the land would go crumbling down with it."

Thinking back to what the cook/bartender said a few moments before he and his entourage had entered and they began conversing. "According to him," Her anthropmorphic skull signaled toward the other man, "Scarved Salvencha Man has done harmful things before. And what he did..... he tried to kill the most favored member of the Marble Pack. Takoma wants him dead or at the least, suffering, to where he wishes he was dead. But either way, someone is going to have their blood spilt. Question is, who's do you want it to be?"

{WHELP! There goes the neighborhood! Thanks for exposing us to the human world, Mora Lucentr--}  With a snap, the white wolf-human swiveled at break-neck speed to scold her 'brother'. "DON'T YOU DARE USE MY LAST NAME!!!" The average person had been thrown out the window and in the spotlight stood the lupus lycanthropus, a bit embarrassedand hoping she hadn't drawn too much attention to herself. Just for a moment, her hands, if they could be called that, brushed her contrasting black dress that had remained from her tripping and ripping scenes. Perhaps she had a short temper, but it was because there were so many things that can set off a perfectionist. Gracefully, as if nothing happened, set back on her perch and put her head down so she could think about their quest with a clearer mind.

The obsidian canine just snorted off the shifter's snapping and waltzed over to the toy and gently put his large paw on it's ... head? {Boop. Whatever you are, you'd be a hoot back home!}

Ever the patient man, Jebidiah ignored her random outburst in favor of figuring out a better way to help her. His golem toddled away from the dog to sit next to Jeb at the counter. "If he has indeed done such things, then the best solution would be to capture him and turn him in. The authorities will deal with him then for punishment. Do you need some help in capturing him?"

Her canid ears flicked to the human in interest, but her head remained buried in her arms on the bar. Mora sighs and lifts her skull to look at him. Capturing? Turning him in? That would be fine with her, but his followers; the rest of Salvencha. If they found out, what would they do then?!  Luceundi watched over the distressed expression of his companions and nudges the case for her weapon, but if one looked a bit more closely, he was actually trying to scoot the summoning stone to the stressed shifter. Her paw-hand took it to revise what it originally appeared, checking for any damage, but she understood in an instant what he was meaning.

She rubbed his head and praised him for the reminder. If anything went wrong, she would use the stone to call any living animal near-by, and hopefully, they would protect them. Key word: Hopefully. Nothing was ever gauranteed. Stepping off her stool and her tail wagging in a relaxed pace, signing she was feeling and thinking much clearer than before. The wolf as dark as her dress...thing stood at her side, his face now solemn and ublinking with his amber glare. "Okay then. We will wait outside for you once you have finished your meal. Oh, and reminder: Never let you serpent out of sight. they are feared, but will be lunged for immediatly if another animal should cross."

Jebidiah chuckled at her mention of his snake. He supposed his pet was getting better at taking the shapes. He gave it a reassuring pat before shifting into a necklace that he wore around outside the collars of his robe. As he waited for his food, after Mora stepped out, he moved closer to the clearly eavesdropping two with a kind smile across his face as he sat at a stool there with his golem following. "Well, she is a strange child. Is there any information about her quarry that you can provide me? Or about her? And was there any reason beyond her behavior you were watching?" When his food would arrive he would eat slowly, listening if they spoke.

The bartender gives Jeb a solemn look "I'm not sure. Salvencha might have done what she says, but I have no idea why her.. pack.. would send her to bring him in. If you are going to follow her please try to keep her out of trouble.  I'll be sharing this with the authorities once I get the chance, have them look into it. The old man passes the cloaked woman a tall glass filled with a purplish-beige liquid. "The setting sub pub is no den of outlaws, I'll tell you that."

"As for her actions, your guess is as good as ours." remarks the bemused cloaked woman. "She's quite reckless, isn't she? This whole quest of hers is exactly the sort of thing I wouldn't have any part of when I was her age." She sets the still mostly-full glass down on the counter and looks Jeb in the eyes. The middle aged woman was much dryer than she had been when Mora had entered the bar, with only her soggy black hair suggesting she'd ever been wet to begin with.

"I'd like to see if I missed out on anything." she says with a wink. "Mind if I tag along?

The bartender sighs, utterly sure where the discussion was going. "Her target's heading south, I think his path takes him down the main road to Manofaide, although he might have stopped for a bit of hunting in the mountains. Please be careful. I don't even know for sure that he's the one she's looking for"

Jeb smiled and nodded for most of what was said. When all was finsihed with food and talking, he spoke. "I honestly have no idea what she is like. But, I appreciate your help in notifying the authorities. I couldn't leave a child like that without some guidance. And I shall try to steer her on a good path, but ultimately the decisions will be hers. As for the help, sure. Are you able to care for yourself, or do you need to aid?" He asked in a polite voice, oblivious to how that could be taken any other way than what he intended. As he finished, he began to move towards the door and head out for the adventure.

The cloaked woman chuckles. "Yes. To both, of course. Isn't that true of most people?" Her skin starts to change color, taking on a more blueish hue. "But I have much to offer, worry not." She pulls out a small flask, manipulating the water within with a a few flicks of her fingers. She inhales deeply and blows out a steady stream of snowy flakes, slowly sealing the water in place to make a small ice funnel. Once the fragile funnel is complete she pours the wine into the flask, seals it, and dumps the funnel ice into yet another flask. She nods to the bartender and stands up thereafter, waving for Jeb to follow suit. "That girl's desire is like a great sail. We best not leave her unattended so close to port.. who knows what she'll run into..."

Smiling, Jebidiah walked outside to find Mora. "Well young one, let us go and find the man that you seek." He said when he did find her. Hopefully, they would be underway soon.

OOC: If you have nothing left to say, just let MK know so he can make the quest thread and we can start the adventure.

Sven was out on his regular patrol route for the day. As he passes by the Setting Sun Pub, he notices 3 people leaving the pub. He recognized the tall, older looking man as Jebidiah, a traveling healer he had met in the past. Accompanying him was a pale-skinned young woman and a slightly odd looking woman with incredibly long hair. Sven did not recognize the other two, but he knew if Jebidiah was with them, there was sure to be an interesting story.
