Hrm, I had to sit and think if I was okay with that sparse of an apparel description. I...think..it is mostly fine, although noting he wears leather armor, a cloak, and maybe his weapon once it is designed would be helpful to people. Prompted me to edit the description section of char profile to note noting key things instead of describing a desire a minimum length.
Alpha Boots: I am familiar with this concept, but would this rendition let you stand on walls/ceilings or just run up and down them in brief spurts? I'd either count it as 1.5 or 2.5 minors depending on that, I think. I'd like DAK to weigh in on this one as well.
Cloak of Swooshing: I feel this would be hard to adjudicate the effects of - in a numerical/dice based RP slightly increasing miss chance is easy to run but as-is it either only works occasionally (and you could occasionally dodge things anyway [in most situations, at least]), or it would work often, and be really strong.
I think it would be better if the cloak had some sort of restriction, like once per X(3?4?) posts, and just have it deflect most ranged attacks. As an added bonus, you wouldn't feel like you're cheating if Darby ever had cause to wave it in front of himself as well. A *Swoosh* of the cloak, as it were.
