Ria nods and frowns, "I am sorry to hear that. Unfortunately what he was trying to repay you with was not his. He stole something from someone else, and while I know that usually human squabbling between themselves is not a concern to most of you, it has become a big deal what he did. Big enough to get other beings involved. If it is alright, may I ask the value of his favor and what would be a suitable alternative payment? I know it is an inconvenience but since the item was never rightfully his it is not a suitable payment. The true owner is looking for it and wishes to have what is his returned." Ria hoped to appeal to the fey lady.

"... how many of you, not including your spirit servant, reclaimed the stolen payment?" she asked after a moment's consideration.

"Is it worth it to lie to her? If so, in which direction?" Lilly asked in a whisper.

Ria looked at the lady and chose her words carefully, yet the words rolled off her tongue as the truth. "The item in question is of a high enough value to more than a dozen people. That is not including any servants some of the higher known people may have and other adventures that have been sent out before us or will be sent after if we return without it. Its absence has already been noted and brought to attention, it's continued absence will only bring more attention. Plus you have me as a witness who will have to explain why when I have the item in my possession I would give it to someone other than its rightful owner." Ria purposefully tip toed around the question to make it very apparent that the item WILL be missed.

The lady tapped her fingers along her arm as Ria spoke, her face contorting in such a way that Ria got the impression of calculation.
"Each of you has a claim on that oil as far as the law is concerned. I offer each of you the following bargain: Your share of the oil in exchange for a similar favour to the one I gave Gurot, there." the offer seemed simple, and didn't set off any alarm bells.
"If none of you take my offer, I would like you to turn over Gurot." she added.
[[OOC: This choice is essentially between Skaylen having enough oil to do something nifty for you later and a boon from the ice lady. Both equally fine, but each of you will only get one.]]

Lilly sat down on what was probably a kitchen counter.
"I'm thinking I'll take the deal." she said after a moment.

Silkie pushes air softly around Lilly as if to whisper. "Only one needs to take offer to keep piggy thief" Ria nods to the lady, "While your offer is tempting, I am afraid I personally will have to pass, my friend is the one wanting the oil back and I would feel like a bad friend to not give my portion back. I hope you understand, but if you want since you have been a pleasure to talk with and very understanding, please feel free to pop into my inn and stay a night or so for free, I do feel bad about this situation... And the fact that my spirit friend yelled at your horse... I apologize for that. Shall I ask the others with me what they wish to choose, I am sure they would be listening in by now."

Lilly hopped off the counter and walked out of the mill. She walked up next to Ria to announce her decision.
"I accept the bargain." she said firmly.

"The choice is yours, Felvad, and I respect it. As for you..." the fey trailed off as she spoke. Reaching out to tap Lilith on the forehead. The half-fey's skin seemed to pale ever so slightly, Ria was close enough to see that a layer under her skin seemed to be freezing.
Ice Weaver - A gift from a wintry fey in exchange for a small amount of something interesting. Lilly has been granted the ability to mould a small amount of ice to do her bidding. [Levelled by Water Magic]
- 0 - Lilith's skin contains a thin, barely visible layer of ice beneath the surface. The ice is almost as tough as leather and slowly refreezes after breaking or thawing. In hot weather or when surrounded by flames, the ice causes the skin to completely pale.
- 1 - Lilith can secrete water from her hands and form simple objects out of it. Using a spell per post she may then freeze the item, creating a fragile object no larger than a cubic foot. The ice can be of any colour, and transparency. Any unused liquid evaporates immediately.
- 2 - Lilith develops an innate understanding of how temperature flows between objects. Lilith's ice creations can be quickly formed with fire deflecting or chilling properties.

Lily held up one of her arms and pressed a finger against it until the sub dermal ice cracked and shattered.
"Works for me, my share of that oil is yours." she said, sounding fairly pleased.
