[Past] Look at that!

On their way to get back at the scarfed Salvencha man, a white haired woman wearing a dress with a torn of front, who actually could change into a anthropomorphic wolf, was walking with a hazen male canine by the name of Luceundi. It seemed that their human traveler couldn't walk as fast as the both of them, so they both sat and/or waited for Jeb to catch up. Her and Luce both loathed eating berries, as it was a weakness sign, but there hadn't been fresh meat seen for a couple of days now and that was the only food they had plentiful bounty of. Impatiently, the black wolf begins pacing in a circle, just like a dad would when he was expecting to be a father.

Jebidiah would have been able to keep up with the youngster, but in his age he has learned rushing with no direct goal tends to waste more time. So he ambled slowly. He did his best to keep sight of the girl as she went forward while he also hung back with the other two who were traveling with them. As they made their way to her, he spoke to everyone. "I don't think we have all been properly introduced. My name is Jebidiah Badash, a traveling healer. And you all?" Hopefully they would answer with at least something to address them by.

The woman from the inn ambled up to Jeb and Mora, leaving the fourth (well, sixth - one mustn't forget Luce and Jeb's Unamed Child-Shaped Flesh Thing) member of their merry band to bring up the rear. Her skin looked a bit.. bluer and a good deal paler than it had in the inn. Her cheerful eyes had begun to ripple like the surface of a lake as well - she must have been suppressing her powers earlier.

It was a good question, one Querida herself had been pondering since finally pulling herself out of the water not an hour earlier. Using her old name was out of the question; it would be dangerous. It was a bit too familiar as well - why not pick a new name to go with her new life?

The woman takes a deep breath before uttering "I an Querida Wydberg". Querida noticeably relaxed once the deed was done; her fears that her chosen moniker might sound poorer spoken aloud rather than in a barside whisper had been fully alleviated. "I've done various things here and there, although I was more of an inventory manager than any sort of daring adventurer." She lightly taps her finger to her chin with a quizzical smirk. "I wonder if there is much overlap between the two."

As Sven caught up with Jebidiah, he called out to him

"Jebidiah! It's been a while. I see you've found some new companions"

Sven had not seen Jebidiah since they first met after a thwarted pirate attack in Tiburon. Sven found it odd to see Jebidiah have traveling companions. The man was known to always travel his own path to help others wherever he roamed.

Jebidiah turned around at the voice. A smile crossed his face. He hadn't expected to see this man again, and it was a pleasure that he did. In fact, it was almost serendipitous. "Ah, Sven. It is so nice to see you again. I do hope all is well with your family. It appears this young lady..." He gestured towards where Mora was, "...has some vengeance to take upon some man who has harmed her family. Seeing the myriad ways that would likely end up with her needing some treatment, I figured I would save myself the time and just go along with her to keep her out of trouble and in line with the law. And how about you? What brings you this far from your patrol?"

Ooc: on the phone, so it's not gonna be real pretty right now.

After consuming the horrid things, Mora stood in an otherwise respectful manner when Jeb was introducing himself to the others and they introduced themselves. Queridia seemed shaky to her for traveling with the others, but the more the merrier. Only Gods know what that guy had planned. Just when the older human male gestrued her way, her mind went blank until she remembered what to do. With a temporary smile and curtsy, her crystalline voice chimed, <b> "Mora. The wolf is Luceundi. He sometimes acts more like a pup or a pain in the neck."</b> <I>{Gee, thanks.} </I> Huffed the onyx canine. Just wondering... But where did that lady from the bar go? Wasn't she coming too?

Wait a second... Why were they walking?! With her stone, any animal she wished could get over here for quite some distance. Hopefully, they could get some horses. Wild or not, anything would work. Walking all the way would probably be a pain. From her weapon's sheath case pocket, an opalescent stone with a dent in the middle began to glow faintly in between her enveloping fingers. <b>" Prepare for horses in about thirty minutes."</b> Thirty minutes was average for horse sized things. Perhaps deer might follow too so that the carnivores could eat something better suited than the berries.

OOC: I am unsure how you're calling horses, from 30 minutes away, given the limitations on the stone?? Note2: In retrospect, I should have posted as Querida, then used OOC account to post general result of stone use.. yeah, I'll do that in the future.

"Do you have a friend in the area?" asks Querida. She suddenly looks down as a squirrel squeezes between her feet on its way to Mora. Several songbirds take up position on nearby trees, and a couple deer the wolf woman had crossed paths dash up to her. This startles several merchants on their way to enter Tiburon proper, but the animals are quickly upstaged by one of the men's donkeys charging up to Mora - carrying the man's trade furs with it. "WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT?" shouts the man as he chases behind his disloyal beast.

<b>"Ah, Nice to meet you Mora, and you too, Luceundi"</b>

Sven bowed his head to the both of them

<b>"Things have been well, Jebidiah. Glad to see you've kept busy. Truth be told, I've taken a temporary leave from the guard. I was just walking my old patrol route. Old habits die hard I suppose. I noticed you and your traveling companions. The sight alone peaked my curiosity. Once I recognized you, I had to find out what's going on. What's this you mentioned about a quest for vengeance?"</b>

The girl looked fairly young. Too young to be on warpath. Sven wondered what would drive someone like her to journey out for revenge.

Jebidiah chuckled. "Well, it seems Mora here..." and then the man came up shouting angrily. His smile was on his face still, but with a bit of a quizzical turn. "...Well, that was unexpected. Since you have the time why don't you join us?" He finished as he went to the angry man. "Sorry sir. It was nothing meant. It seems our friend here is friends with animals and yours came over to say hello. You can take your animal back and we can be on our way." He looked to the group hoping they would begin to move along too, to avoid the conflict that was brewing.

Sven considered Jebidiah's offer. He could find himself a long way from his town, but Sven had to admit, these circumstances reminded him of his father's old stories. He knew Jebidiah was a skilled healer and water mage, but worried how he would fair in a physical fight. Along with his companions, this group could find itself in alot of danger. Sven could not attest to the other's abilities, but he knew he couldn't let them travel off without his protection. Jebidiah seemed like one of the few people trying to do some true good in the world.

<b>"If you have room for an extra set of feet, I'd be glad to join you all."</b>

Sven didn't fully know what he got himself into, he was sure of one thing: Whatever was about to happen was bound to make a good story one day.
