Castor perked up at word of the Dragon. It seemed like the creature was all he could think about. He hoped he wasn't worrying over much. He took one of the feathers and looked it over. He wasn't sure what to make of it. He twirled it between his fingers as he turned back to watching the water off the side of the boat.
He had been doing this since they left shore, not hearing much of the conversations. He was listening to something else. The ocean. His Aspect came with a heightened sense of hearing. He had heard the normally inaudible sounds of whales before, much too low for the human ear to detect. He wondered if a water-dwelling dragon made similar sounds.
As a secondary hope, he pulled one of the stones out of his pocket, the one he had already memorized, and dropped it into the water. He closed his eyes and focused on the stone. It appeared in his mind quickly falling through the water. The occasional plant or fish went by.
He was hoping for more.
