"Agreed", noted a somewhat glum Dalton. He motions for Kage to get started. "We should try to make this quick - at this point I'd rather stay overnight than risk a nighttime journey and I do not want to stay overnight".
The rocks were close enough to make things easy for Kage, at first anyway. He notes their are roughly four paths of stones to the cliff - the first looked like an easy path to and up the cliff but would put him close to a half-submerged cave entrance, the second lead to the steep but climbable wall with a clearish path to the top of the cliff, the third would involve moving past several low (but not submerged) caves. The fourth path would require at least twice as much hopping about as the others, including a few longer jumps, to even reach the cliff but led to a sizable tunnel entrance that almost looked like it had footholds carved into the cliffside - it'd also be the easiest bit of cliff to climb all the way to the top.
OOC: Say, how are you getting from boat -> rocks, anyhow? As noted before, Dalton isn't bringing the ship within 30' of the many rocks jutting out of the water between you and the cliff.
