[Malber] [U] The Watering Hole

Drevin just let out a low grunt and scraped the last of his food together at the edge of his plate. If this kid wasn't careful he might just find out just how much he liked to fight.

Arl had nodded when Riesig noted his, ah, hobbies. Odd choices, but perhaps he was just passionate about his talents. There wasn't anything wrong with that!

There was, however, quite a bit wrong with the growing tension between her two new compatriots. It wouldn't do to fight amongst themselves... she pulls out a palm-sized leaf. "Say, Riesig, could you form a dozen or toy-sized humanoid shapes using that mist of yours? Have them stand on the table. "

Riesig, oblivious of the tension there, turned at Arl's comment. He hadn't thought to try that before, so he focused on the mists and made human shaped thick mists form on the table top. "Neat. Why did you want them?" He smiled at the result.

Having finished his meal Drevin turned a curious eye to the odd workings of his table mates.

Arl clasps her hands together. She wasn't sure what she had been expecting, but the mist-toys looked very serviceable."Great job! I was thinking we could use your mist to help plan our avenue of attack. Randall-", Arl had dropped the less personal 'Mr.' after that arm wrestling match "-has fought a few of them before so he could even help us model a few of the soldiers properly! How's that sound to you?" The cheerful woman quickly folds her little leaf into a nifty looking hat and tires to put it on one of the mist men.

Riseig laughed a bit. The hatted mist figure begins marching around with his new hat. He had never tried forming his mists into something that wasn't clothing, and this was just too much fun. "Sounds like a plan to me."

Drevin rolled his eyes. "I need a drink." He waved the bar girl over. When she approached he said. "I'll take whatever you have that's strong."

Riesig looked at Drevin while he waited for his drink. "You know, I could make you get drunk faster. If it is the drunkenness you want and not actually the act of drinking the booze." He spoke with a smile, as he genuinely thought he could help.

Arl hesitantly looked towards Drevin as well, unsure what expression she was about to see and even less sure of what expression she hoped to see on the man's face.

Rand returned to the table flanked by a diminutive man in a maroon shirt. The man looked a little fidgety but smiled when he was looked at, making an attempt to meet the groups gazes and only just failing.

"Borla here likes the sound of Arl's compromise, so we have a ri- ... what's with the mist men?" he cut himself off as he noticed the ephemeral regiment.
